About

Sunny is a photographer and filmmaker born and based in Brooklyn, New York. After picking up a camera in high school, he learned how powerful visual art can be through collaboration with experienced photographers and filmmakers. He received his BFA in Photography & Video from the School of Visual Arts, and has since taken on diverse projects from producing short-films to capturing the diverse American landscape and experience.

Navigating between the worlds of political activism, fashion, live music, and documentary, Sunny is focused on how to utilize elements from our everyday lives as devices for visual storytelling. He is currently a Photo and Video Producer for Meridian Strategies.

Sunny hates writing about himself in third-person. For fun, he likes hanging around the rock climbing gym for way too long, strumming some folksy tunes on his guitar, and occasionally getting lost in the middle of nowhere.
